In 1973, Athalon  established manufacturing in Denver, Colorado. Each bag was designed and tested by Athalon employees, who were avid sports enthusiasts and travelers. In order to pass our rigorous tests each bag had to be incredibly durable and also work perfectly. The  pockets had to be properly sized and placed in the ideal spot for maximum comfort and usefulness. The shoulder straps and handles had to be appropriately balanced and comfortable. Every bag had to be lightweight and water repellent. Each stress point, whether on a handle, shoulder strap or seam had to be reinforced and tested to withstand rigorous use. As the years passed Athalon's reputation for quality and service grew. Today we design and manufacture bags for professional sport teams, other high quality manufacturers and better sporting goods and luggage shops. We have expanded our product offerings to include:

  • Major League Baseball – In 2007 Athalon entered into a licensing agreement with Major League Baseball to manufacture a line of Sport and Travel Bags. The lineup includes duffel bags, wheeling duffels, equipment bags and travel accessories.
